PhiBrows is a manual, semi-permanent technique of hyper-realistic eyebrow drawing in which the shape of eyebrows is calculated according to facial morphology and golden proportion (phi 1,618).The technique is intended for anyone over the age of 18 (persons under 18 must be accompanied by their parents) who wants to correct the aesthetic problems of their eyebrows.
Pigment is applied manually in the surface layer of the dermis. Pigment is determined according to the natural color of the eyebrows and hair. After healing, pigment can become several nuances brighter compared to natural hair color.
Treatment is done by using sterile and disposable tools, while pigments are of the highest standard (PhiBrows microblading pigments). Correction is done a month after the treatment as 10-15% of strokes are lost after the first treatment. Inserted pigment is very dark during the first 5 to 7 days. 7 days later, it loses up to 40% of its intensity.
Strokes are always drawn in the direction of natural hair growth in order to achieve hyper-realistic eyebrow look.
For how long the pigment will be retained mostly depends on the skin oiliness. The oilier the skin is the shorter pigment retention is. Sweating and sun exposure also affect pigment retention. On average, expected time until new refreshment of pigment is 10 to 12 months. If the skin is oily, it takes up to 6 months. Healing is completely done 28 days later and then it is necessary to add the pigment that was lost in the meanwhile.
Post-treatment care makes 70% of total treatment success. Conscientiously stick and adhere to the given advice, because if you don’t do that, you can lose up to 80% of drawn strokes. Rinsing and applying the cream is of great significance.
How successful the treatment will be depends on:
- skin quality
- post-treatment care
- exposure to various external influences.
None of these factors are under the Artist’s control, thus providing any guarantee for the treatment is not possible.
Before the treatment always consult with your artist if you:
- have problematic skin
- have serious health issues
- take certain medications
- already have an old PMU on your eyebrows.
Before the treatment, get familiar with the post-treatment care procedure.
Before the treatment:
Before each treatment, the skin should not be burnt, nor in recovery or regeneration process.
The following treatments are not recommended 30 days before the treatment:
- botox and fillers
- fruit or lactic acids
- laser treatments
- chemical peel
- exposure to strong sunlight.
POST TREATMENT CARE
First step in the healing procedure: 30 minutes after the Microblading treatment gently cleanse your eyebrows using PhiWipes without streaching the skin. Cleanse the skin up until you find traces of pigment or colored lymph on the wipes. In this way, the excess lymph is removed in order to prevent formation of scabs, which are otherwise devastating when it comes to pigment. Having cleansed the skin, the clients shoud apply the cream which was prescribed to them based on their skin type and habits. During the day this process should be repeated 3-5 times. In the app, you have possibility to set the alarm which will remind you to do this process on time. If the treatment was done in the afternoon and you do not have time to repeat the mentioned procedure 3-5 times, before going to bed and after the last rinsing and applying the cream on the eyebrows, it is necessary to stick on your eyebrows PhiPatch and sleep with it. t In the next 6 days rinsing is not needed because lymph will not be coming out any longer. However, applying the cream is necessary 3-5 times daily. The eyebrows must not get wet while washing the face or having a shower. In clients with extremely oily skin, the after care (rinsing and applying the cream) is recommended only on the first day, while in the following days the client should not apply any ointment or cream. Due to the fact that each change in the skin structure (forming of light fiber tissues) prevents pigment retention in the future periods, it is very important that the skin is well healed. In order to achieve that, it is recom mended to use Anti-Scar gel 7 days after the treatment. Instructions for using this gel are included with the product. PhiCandy Balm is a natural cream, formulated for skin care after the trreament, whose function is to keep the skin moisturized and to keep it protected from external influences, such as dust, sweat, etc.
WHAT IS TO BE AVOIDED AFTER MICROBLADING?
During the first 7 days, avoid all creams (except the protective ones), all the makeup (foundation) in the eyebrow area. Avoid exercises that cause excessive sweating, sauna, facial massage and inhalation.
IN THE NEXT 30 DAYS AVOID:
Suntanning, sunbeds, light (laser) therapy, chemical peels, fruit acids, microdermabrasion, creams that contain regeneration factors. You should always avoid laser treatments over the treated area during the healing period (Fraxel laser, IPL) because they can destroy the pigment and cause inflammation. Faster fading out of pigment can happen if the clients use antibiotics or hormonal therapy. Always protect your eyebrows from the sun by using sun protection cream (not only during the first 7 days).
